Men would never ask for directions due to their macho attitude, as for women we don't ask for directions because we are already there by the time we realize we were lost.

First of all: I ALWAYS know where I'm going!
If there's a slight chance I'm not sure where I am, I'd ask 4 directions, why the heck not? There's NOTHING wrong with that!

You may look stupid asking for directions, but it looks even more stupid to get lost. So ask if you need it.
I usually check the route online on Mapquest before leaving home. My wife is always impressed how I know every street corner in the smallest cities :-)

I have a tendency to keep driving. Why? Not sure, maybe I'll decide to go somewhere I wasn't planning on going in the first place.
