im joining the drama club this year because i really want to be an actress when the time comes.but im not sure what they do in drama clubs.do they have stage plays?i really love stage plays.please help me! and is drama club fun?thanks

in my drama club they do drama exercises like you make up your own skit or fake commercial with a group and perform it in front of the rest of the club.you do voice exercises and learn how to project your voice and some acting games.theres a production you put on and everyone has a part or a job to do in the play.you do rehearsals alot probably everyday and then you get costumes and a script and you have to memorize your lines and you put on a big play.you spend so much time with the other kids that you are like one big happy family and most of the time you support eachother on the stage and rehaersing and everyone wants you to do good and its really fun.it might be different for different drama clubs though like if you join a really small one or something or if its at your school you might not put on a production so join a big group.

Drama club is a large number of interesting. many times, the faculty places on one musical production a 12 months that is going up around the spring time, yet you commence rehearsing interior the autumn. It really depends on how active your drama club is, but yes, they do do stage plays. They may do multiple ones or just one at a time, and they may do other things too, again just depending on how active the club is.

in drama club? you whine about how you caught your best friend with the guy you like at the movies when she totally told you that she was not into him!... j/k
you learn speach- how to project your voice. you also learn how to set up a stage, where to stand on the stage, techniques. etc....
it's a lot of fun.

A Drama Club is nothing at all like a gay and lesbian club, although you will find gays and lesbians in a drama club, they join it for the drama.

You do improv games, you learn acting techniques, you perform skits, you become a family! lol. And yes, it's fun!
