You've given us three dimensions and asked for a two dimensional answer. A square foot is a measure of area, or surface. The formula to find this is L(Length) x W(Width). You can add lengths or widths of smaller areas, to get a total for that dimension and multiply it by a common factor. Thus, your walls are 10',10',15',and15' long, and they are all the same height. You can add the lengths: 10+10+15+15=50' and multiply by their common height, to get a total wall area of 500sq.ft.(50'x10').

The ceiling and floor are each 150sq.ft. Your question is worded, so that I'm not sure if you're looking for this, or for total room volume. That number is expressed as cubic feet, and it is the product of the following formula : L x W x H(Height). This number is used to evaluate air conditioning or heating needs.

I hope this helps. Good luck.

You'll need to be more specific. Are you trying to calculate the floor area (which would be 150 sq ft) or are you trying to calculate how much paint to buy to cover the walls and the ceiling?

If you are talking about painting the walls, that would be 500sqft
If you are just talking about the floor area, that's 150sq ft
