Hi, This is the first time I send anything so excuse me if I did make any mistakes.
I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism less than a year ago. I was 14 years old then. I didn't have any symptoms back then it was just a random blood test that led to the discovery. I wasn't given any medications as 3 doctors said that there was no need to it. I go for check up every 4-5 months and give blood tests. Well the problem is for a while now I noticed some stuff that I had no propblem with before. These include: *Fatigue and weakness *shortness of breath and chest pains accompanied by pain in the left arm *lower back pains *a little hair loss (when i comb my hair or take a shower) *I kinda always feel sad *I seem to forget some stuff and I try hard to remeber them (such as I can't recall what happened in an episode I was watching or a book I am reading..etc after a few days from the event) *My hands and feet are cold most of the time. Are these the symptoms or is something else wrong? Thanks

tiredness, hair loss, depression and cold hands and feet are all common symptoms of hypothyroidism. As for the shortness of breath, chest pain and lower back pain, they're unlikely to be related to your hypothyroidism. You should go back to your doctor and tell them about your symptoms and they will probably start you on thyroxine to increase the levels of thyroid hormone in your body which will improve how you're feeling.
