The tubal ligation failure rate is approximately 1 out of 200 [Ref: Medline]. More importantly, the rate of ectopic pregnancy risk is drastically increased in women who have undergone TL as well - about 7 ectopic pregnancies per 1,000 procedures...this may not seem like a lot, unless you are the one w/the ectopic. If you *want* to get pregnant, you can also talk to your doc about undergoing a tubal reversal. Success rates with or without IVF and assisted reproduction after tubal reversal can be as high as 60% in some populations; particularly those younger women who undergo IVF. An experienced RE might be able to better assist you than your regular GYN, so don't be shy about searching for one to help you. Good luck.

Sorry but I dont think you can get Pregnant again..My aunt did the same thing in the 80s', but then she got remarried and she wanted to have another baby, and there was nothing the doctors could do to reverse it..Maybe the technology has changed and maybe they can reverse it now, but just ask your OB-GYN Doctor. Peace
