Considering that he admitted to it...I believe he is.

How can one answer this when they know nothing of the evidence that was used to obtain a probable cause warrant?

I'll wait to hear what the Boulder DA has on this guy.

Keep in mind what JonBenet's father stated -- which was, "I feel it is extremely important to not only let the justice system operate to its conclusion in an orderly manner, but also to avoid feeding the type of media speculation that my wife and I were subjected to for so many years."

Perhaps in this case assuming things without evidence actually made an (_!_) out of a good portion of the Boulder Police, the media and many individuals following this case and playing "arm chair detective."

Several credible news sources as well as people connected to Karr have commented on his extreme obsession with this case--he has even written academic papers on Ramsey's death. So clearly, he should be somewhat knowledgeable to the basic facts affiliated with the case (i.e. that no traces of drugs were found in the autopsy), yet he has publicly misconstrued those facts. If he were not guilty, why would he so obviously lie?

No, i dont think he is, they are mentioning to many inconsistancies, like his ex wife saying they werent even in the state, he said he raped her, there was little evidence of that. He was obsessed with her case and her after the fact, i think he wants to be the killer so he feels closer to her. Also the way he confesed is wrong, if he was guilty he would have a lawyer there with him, telling him not to talk. IF this guy did kill her it was probably ordered by the parents, how do u now hear an introduer come into your house and kill your daughter brutally???

He's definately a pedophile, but I'm not sure if he's the murderer. I hope they can prove he is and this case can be closed for the family's sake. However, his EX wife said he was with her and the kids that Christmas. It being a holiday, I'm sure she would remember.

My friends theory is that he would rather do time in an American prison than in Thailand.

Only a trial will tell. Both he and his wife may have ulterior motives for what they are saying.

However, the take-away for me is that he:
1. looks like a normal, decent person
2. teaches kids
3. lives in a red light district in a country with a history of modern day child sex slavery and prostitution

Life in his soul must be a living hell and maybe he just wants out of it, whether or not he committed this particular crime.

I reluctantly say innocent until proven guilty, however I do think he is WAY guilty of something BIG, and wants his butt out of Thailand, before the cane falls on it. There is no doubt in my mind the guy is a sick wack-job!! He knows (or thinks) he'll have it better in American prisons, but even prisoners have morals when it come to children! God rest that little girls soul, and her Mother who never got to see justice prevail!

No, I don't think so. Not when his ex-wife (who would probably be the first to want to implicate him) says that she can't remember him not being around at any given Christmastime they were together.

I think it's a brilliant ploy on his part to get extradition from the Thai prison he was in for child sex crimes, to get out of possibly being executed there.

I very much doubt that he is. According to his ex-wife, who has nothing good to say about him, he was with her at the time of the murder. There are several other things that don't fit either. He is very fixated on JonBenet and its quite possible he believes himself to be the killer.

Not me, but it weaves quite a story, and makes you wander if he didn't know someone in the family.
I wander how he got all his money to travel, if he was only a substitute teacher now and then.
