So no big deal, you don't like crowded places. Millions feel the same way. There is nothing wrong with you, it's just part of your personality. If you can, avoid crowds. If is necessary just be yourself and don't try to fit in if it doesn't suit you. While all the 'bees are buzzing" go into the secret place in your spirit.
The anxiety usually occurs because you don't feel you fit in. You are you, a beautiful person and maybe God didn't create you to be a 'bee'.
Just stand back and watch all the superflous actions and chit-chat. You'll be glad you are you.

Me too some times its gets to much, can’t breath and then the sound is deafening, but I have found the more you hang around it crowds the less it bothers you and you learn to block it out and calm down.
The best thing that helped me was realising that the whole room isn’t staring at me, judging me, but the doesn’t see me at all I’m invisible to them and that is great, just go to a crowded place sit on your own (it can be hard because u think people are thinking y is he sitting alone) but you soon realise they don’t see you at all they are to rapped in their own lives, try going one a bus and listening to conversations that’s fun.
God, when I realised men were checking me out that made me feel more relaxed like I don’t look like a freak but normal, even attractive! So put on ur best clothes then you get attention for the right reasons!

Do not , repeat, do not start taking tranquilisers. It will of course help in the short term, but after a while you will become tolerant to them & you will have to up the dose & there-by become dependant on them. You will then have another problem ie, addiction & believe me, trying to get off these drugs is shear hell.
The best thing you can do is to get into therapy of the kind where your thought patterns are challenged & modified, because fear & anxiety are a result of fearful & anxious thoughts. You will also be taught relaxation techniques to help you through the day & to help you get to sleep.
I will leave you with a quote from Epicticus: IT IS NOT EVENTS THEMSELVES THAT DISTURB US BUT THE VIEW WE TAKE OF THEM.
Please give this quote some thought.

Depends on how bad your anxiety is. Do you have panic attacks? Do you avoid certain situations so that you don't have a panic attack or anxiety? If yes, I would contact a Psychiatrist. This doctor can prescribe meds that can help and also get you in touch with a therapist. Working with a therapist will help to acquired techniques that will allow you to come off the meds. Good luck!

You'll find that many people feel uncomfortable in crowds. When it happens to you, try asking yourself why you are anxious....find out the reasons why and see if you can calm yourself down and actually just enjoy being with a crowd of people.....loneliness and alone-ness might be even scarier!
What is certain.....DO NOT exchange anxiety for alcoholism!...from one problem to a worse one!

Anxiety passes with time as long as you don't turn to alcohol, when you go out to public places you just have to learn to switch off, don't focus on the crowds just focus on the reason you are out there.

In addition to asking your doctor, Meditation!! It's so simple but it works. 20 min/day, sit in a quiet place, relax, and keep your mind clear. When thoughts creep in, push them out. Do it every day. It will fix the anxiety as well as other things in your life.

Tucker, you need to talk to people more, you will find a lot of people have the same complaint. Once you give a problem a voice the cure is on it's way
