Seriously, that woman is now singing? Are you sure it is not just her wee dog that is chanting into a mic? Don't compare her to UB40 that would be a major insult to the Brummie boys.

Paris did use the opening to "Kingston Town" by UB40 and also used it to set the rythym for her song. Technically, it's called "sampling" music.
As for the song being a rip-off...Yes. A rip-off, if you purchase it any form, being full length CD or single download.

I hear that before, listened to both, only real resemblance was that they both have a Reggae beat. They're just jealous and trying to sponge some of her $$$.

It sounds like there are some beats and music that are quite like kingston Town... however I think a lot of songs cover other music riffs... it's nothing new..
