i know it's all scrips and storylines. years ago wwe was entertaining. they had loads of hardcore matches almost every week. not it's just regular.

I would say a Major Problem is there has been a lack of "talent" out there.

Wrestlers today lack the charisma as the wrestlers of yesterday. This is one of the reasons Vince MacMahon is booking "old school" guys to draw crowds and is hoping that some of what they got, rubs off on the new guys. This is one of the resons you keep seeing Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan, Mick Foley, Shawn Michaels, and Hacksaw Jim Duggan making appearances.

Also, the storylines have gotten stale. They concentrate too much on the "soap opera" verses a good-old fashion rivalry.

Tell me Honestly...which is a more exciting match to watch.

Kurt Angle vs. Shelton Benjamin.....or......Edge vs. Cena.

Although Edge vs. Cena is the Money Draw according to WWE standards today, Angle vs. Benjamin would be more physical, tactical, and high flying. My 2 Cents...

dale_sr_021801 hit the nail in the head. WCW isn't around anymore to compete with, so WWE doesn't have to try as hard anymore. TNA just sucks. Sting, Nash, Jarrett and Steiner are all still good, but the other guys on the show are almost as big of a joke as Khali. You're only as good as your competition makes you look.

they don't have the wcw to compete with any more. some of their better talent has gone to TNA Wrestling. like Scott Steiner, Rhino, Raven, the other 5 members of D-X, Dudley Boyz, Christian (Edge's old tag team partner), Jackie Gayda, Gail Kim,Cjristy Hemme, Kevin Nash, and oh ya, Slapnuts, Jeff Jarrett. there are more but i forget who they are. plus, they also have the stinger splash now.

Because people stopped believing like they used to. Even though it was all scripted it was still good vs evil. Now people just call it fake and could care less. However the real fans still get behind their favourites and watch.

I agree man! Vince got some serious homework to do and get this thing back on track like it used to! I've got so many memories of the good old days, nothing compares to that today.

Back when I was young they actually hired guys who could wrestle so it didn't look as staged. Not to mention there was more fighting and less storylines. I personally do not care why they fight. I just want to see the fight. I don't care about celebrations, whining or complaining. Fight more talk less.

WWE screwed up when they hired nickelodeon writers and soap opera writers. THATS why it isnt like it was anymore..

The reason wwe is not as good is because they dont have any compitition like they did.

Talent isn't something you can teach either you have it or you
don't just like singing some people are meant to sing and others
just don't have it.
