if a woman is naturally beautiful, she doesnt need much makeup. But well applied make up can bring out the best features in some women, so i think, if well applied it can work well.

Me being a girl myself I think when I wear it that it makes me extra confident. I don't wear it for the guys to look at me..I wear it so *I* think I look better and a little more even. I wear foundation, concealer (if I need it), and powder daily just to make my face look a little better and liven up my lips with some lip-gloss. When I'm going out I usually wear eyeshadow and that's it. I don't take away from my "natural beauty" though.
My boyfriend thinks I don't need to wear it...yeah exactly! I don't NEED to I WANT to. I don't wear much around him or people I've known for awhile. If I want to make a impression on someone I've just met I might wear a little bit more. Sometimes I just let it fly and wear none but I feel a little less confident.
You gotta remember though guys, if you say you don't like a girl with makeup...look at the media today. Most every single pin-up girl or popstar you think is hot is wearing lots of it. You see them without it and I think some guys are shocked. You can't say you don't like girls wearing it because you already were fooled by it.
We don't necessarly wear it for guys either. If we wear it for anyone I think it would be the girls that we are "competing" against.

I have a love-hate relationship with make-up. When I wear it on my face it is to "present" myself in a better way because I have different shades of colour on my face which can look as if I don't take care of my skin. Without make-up I have been percieved as a lot younger and I prefer to look my age! I enjoy putting it on because it is fun. On the other hand I find it messy and if I didn't have such difficult-to -manage skin I wouldn't wear it or I would wear the bare minimum (e.g. lip-gloss). It doesn't give me extra confidence but sometimes stops me from worrying that my skin may look bad.

I prefer without without a doubt. Putting make-up on covers the 'real' you and presents a plastic coated person instead.
Looks are VERY important to me and if I won't like your 'naked' look, then why would you want to make me attracted to you by making yourself more attractive than what you really are? If you don't have 'natural' beauty and I learn of your true being and am disappointed with your truth, I will leave and you very likely will be hurt.

I feel confident and love playing around with different looks/colours.
I would be very lost without my glitter though - there will come a time when I have to stop using it as it does not look right on older people!

Definitely with makeup. Many guys will say that they prefer the natural look, but notice which women who make them gawk as they pass by. I feel that a lot of guys aren't comfortable admitting that they like makeup on a woman. I was that way until I grew up, too.

i guess if i am going some where special then make up makes you feel a little more glam, and if like me you hardly wear it, putting it on as a finishing touch makes the event more exciting, but when younger did it 1) because it annoyed my dad like mad 2) it did give more confidence and you could almost change the way you looked to suit how you were feeling 3) i used make up as a statement, like when I went through the punk stage..

I'm sure it wouldn't hurt for me to wear more make-up...but what's the point? I mean for a date or something special yeah. But everyday? I don't think so. It makes me have that extra attitude but sometimes it makes people look worse if they don't know how to use it.
