The easy way to find greatest common factor when numbers have already been factored is to look for the largest common factor.

2x2x2x3
3x3x5

You see above the GCF is 3.

2^3 * 3 = 24

5 * 3^2 = 45

2 * 2 * 2 * 3 = 24

3 * 3 * 5 = 45

GCF = 3

When the numbers are factored you just use the ruler: take the Commons factor with less exponent and multiply its.
Here you have only a co mom factor that is 3... and with the less exponent is just 3.
