make sure the computer dvd player is also a burner! a lot of burners do not work with DVD just CD particularly if the laptop was primarily for business and not graphics or video. Then just download from internet (mostly are pay sites) and save to dvd burner after u save to moviemaker format. windows moviemaker will convert to DVD format when it burns.

Your laptop may not have a DVD burner. Most people have a CD-R/RW DVD ROM combo drive, but not a CD-RW DVD + R which is a combo drive that lets you burn both CD's and DVD's.

ok first u need to make sure u have a dvd burner. next u need to download dvdshrink from online somewhere. then to make sure you dont have any protection errors, also download anydvd from slysoft.com. after all this ur gonna need to download nero version 6.6.0.18 ( try to google it) you will also need to search on here for a serial number for nero. then go out get a movie, put it in ur laptop, open up dvdshrink and get started heres some goodtips, www.dvdshrink.org

There are several diff software to do this- the ones I use are TMPGenc Express to code it to a dvd file then inter video to burn it but nero works well too

download a nero trial version and then use that to burn the movies to a dvd. the best way to rip them to your laptop(in my opinion) is to use dvdshrink.

make a vcd disk using sonic burner of roxio easy burner
also if you want to make a dvd, make sure you have a dvd burner and not just a cd burner, look for dvd-rw

First it depends on the software you are using to burn. if ti is ashampoo you can drag them or click on add ok or if you are using Nero it is even just like the add thing ok
