I save the text Romper Moon flicker by on a TV in an epsiode of the TV series Moonlighting. It looked like it was a children's show. So my question is: Did this series (Romper Moon) exist in the reality, or did just make that name up for Moonlighting?
Someone in the series zapped between different channels and the Romper Moon thing lasted for a scond or so, and starred a drawn cube, which the camera zoomed into.

Romper Room ran in the 1950's and 1960's. You may have missed the correct spelling if it passed very quickly or they may have deliberately changed the spelling because they couldn't get the rights to use the name.

I used to love that show. I think it was locally ran but there were a lot of different cities that had it.. Ours had Miss Ann. My mom almost put me on it when I was 4 but thought better of it. The best part was at the end when Miss Ann took out here magic mirror and said that she could see all her friends out there in tv land and then she would start saying names. I would sit there in front of the tv set and hope that she saw me. My husband said that when he was little he would hide from her cuz it freaked him out that she could see him.
