i think that you need to think about the well fare of your daughter and obviously he is not
he either needs to find a job that clashes with your or he needs to help you find a new car or fix the old one
plus he definite need to sell the new one he has now for a more reasonable one
you need to give him the ultimatums
then if he does not oblige with them you either kick him out or leave at once
no turning back because he is certainly not thinking of you and your child

sounds like you're mind is already made up, but you may want some reassurance.

First of all how are you going to leave him if you have no money?

I think you should sit down and write out a plan on getting away from your controling husband. His male ego may get hurt, but sounds better for you and your daughter.

Remember, you don't want your daughter watching you be a door mat because she too, will grow up to marry a loser.

Wow how did you even put up with him for this long?He sounds like a selfish jerk and you should have left a long time ago.The money he is paying for his car could have been used for a car for you so that HIS WIFE AND DAUGHTER could get around. What if your daughter needs to get somewhere, you have to wait till he feels like it? Yes leave him and then that 800 dollars can go to you forchild support.

Are you serious?? Where does he get off? Why don't you take the brand new car and tell him to fix the other car if he wants to get around. That is inhumane you have a child. What an asshole

wow. he has long term plan but very bad money management skills. yes you should if this is the thing that bothers you. i know someone like that and he can never save a dime. funny thing was his mother gave him the excuse that he has been like that "since he joined the reserve and deployed". what a brainless. start giving him the chance to see if he will change. talk to him about some long term plans and see if he can commit to savings. otherwise, i would leave the man.

First run him over with the Tahoe, like twice. And then leave, because you and your daughter don't deserve that kind of treatment.

he does seem selfish. he should have been trying to help you out first. it probably would have only been 2 of his new car payments to get your car going .. if he cared enough about you , he would have put you and your child first ..just like i am sure you are doing for him. i would say let him go...open the door to someone who will care for you and your child.. cut your losses.

Poor girl...unfortunately, you know the answer...you have to think of your own and your daughter's wellbeing...

What would you tell you daughter, if she told you this exact same story???

Good luck...
