Jesus is among us now and has been for some time. As in his first time, he lives as an ordinary man, observing, assessing and befriending. It is not the huge human issues that he is focussed on but the state of the human being, that is, has mankind learned what he needs to learn in order to advance the soul. The conflict, killing and greed we see all around us on a daily basis is unstoppable today as it was when human beings evolved to a point where they could reason and make decisions. The evolution of the human being, as populations increase, can only be seen in art, science - physical and social - and the creative mind itself. The question Jesus is pondering is, "Has the human experience been worth the pain and suffering of the poor souls born to this earth." It is the answer - coming soon - that will determing what lay before us.
