If you owe GMAC nothing just call and ask them to send a original to you. This request is called into whre you made your GMAC payments,
You will need the last payment all names on the title and the account number , Make sure you get one that has a notary on it not a copy of a notary one.
When you sell it remember the copy will not work

call or write to gmac and ask for a lein release if no money is owed on the vehicle they will send it to you if money is owed then they will tell you the amount that needs to be paid for a release to be issued

When it's paid, they will send it out. Go the the courthouse tax office and get it put in your name without GMAC on it.
