What do kids do these days that really ticks you off? One of those- "when I was a kid, we NEVER..." things?

For me, it's those skate shoes the little monsters are wearing everywhere now. You can't even go into the grocery store without some kid zipping by you, running you down, etc.

Anyone else? Pet peeves about kids?

and for all the kids who looked anyway, what do adults do that really corks you?

I don't like the skate shoes either. But what really gets to me is the fact that these kids will scream in their parents' faces and cuss and act a fool. WHERE ARE THE WOODEN SPOONS?

Adults are just overgrown kids. But that's besides the point. It really annoys me when kids sit in front of the TV screen 24/7. I never did that as a kid. I mean wheres all the nice innocent stuff kids used to do? playing hopscoth, baseball, making treehouses, selling lemonade? But no, they just sit like lumps watching all the junk on TV and turning their brains into mush.
And I'll be honest with you bro, I really hate it when adults say "I never did that as a kid!!" but I couldn't help myself.

I'm 17 by the way.

Ok I'm 14 and what really annoys me about adults is this.When you do something wrong like talk back and they say 'oh you think that's cool'?!.Grr.I hate when they say that it's like listen screw off I made a miss take god.I hate adults who send some kids to shrinks.I hate adults thinking us teens like the same stuff excuse me were all different you know.Like not all of us like this type of music or style or etc. whatever.They just don't understand.And I hate adults thinking there so much better I'm not saying all adults some just are simply annoying

KIDS.

1. When they have pants down to there ankles. Personally, i like tight pants on men... lol
2. when they brag to there friends
3. when they say show off
4. when they Think There *Hot ***** it's really stupid.

6. when they spell like crap online, but can speak perfect.

Adults.
1. When they think they know everything because they're older, Personally, i remember Teaching my parents a lot!
2. When they abuse there kids.
3. when they think there ALWAYS right.
4. They always Say if you don't do this i'm ganna do this. or take this away from you,
5. When they ALWAYS think you're lying, i remember once my mother though i was lying to her which i really wasn't, and she told me if i didn't tell her the truth she'd take me to the lake, ( trust me it's horrid.) and so i said i did it just so she would shut up.
6. when they don't believe there kids, when they are actually telling the truth,
7. When they Hate when there kids talk back,
8. when they get pissed when you say shut up to them.

Not every kid is like that. You do not know some of the things that go on in the mind of a kid. Yes I hate it when they say bad words but not all of them are like that. I am 10 and speaking for all the kids who are more mature than you say(unlike the immature ones). Us kids hate it when you post/say things like the question you asked. It also makes us mad when you treat us like things other than humans. We have a mind and life too we are people! Things DO go on in the life of a kid.
There is many more that I wish to tell you but I have to move on,

I am a first time mom. My pet peeve is mothers who don't control their kids. I don't like going to the store and see 4yrs old to 16yrs old running in the store. Hearing them screaming at their parents

No manners when shopping with Mom.
Temper tantrums in the Mall and Mom
doesn't know what to do. More often
than not Mom starts screaming louder
than the kid is.

As a parent I would die if I had to deal with some of the issues that some are saying are issues.

I was brought up to respect my parents and that is what I did.

I did what was to be done and stayed pretty mellow.

I work hard at being a good parent/ teacher.

That is my story and I am sticking to it!

I hate it when I got to the store or to get ice cream and there are packs of 15 kids all yelling and cussing at each other. The boys trying to impress the girls by doing stupid things.

I agree on those skates for sure. The thing that bugs me the worse is the lack of respect that many seem to have towards their elders (worse yet are the adults that allow such behavior and dont correct the child on it!).
