.....this is THE THE THE THE most over used cliche to describe a young female or young girl and should be banned, and the song writers who use it have little imagination.....do you agree or disagree?

I agree. They REALLY ran that into the ground.

If you focus on stuff like that, it does tend to bother you more.

Now that you mentioned it, it's gonna bug the heck outta me too!

From its initial inception, the word baby had a nice ring in the songs produced, but, yes, it is overdone now.

Yet the word isn't exclusive to the feminine gender; it is used for males and females in songs. The use of 'baby' in songs is almost as deplorable as reading the F word in print so much, regardless if spelled out or disguised.

I totally agree! It's like the songwriters are beating us over the head with thier limited vocabulary. They should use words like "lovemuffin" and "sweetypie" besides that crap! Note to all songwriters: GROW UP!
