my ex boyfriend. told me he wanted me to have his baby. he wanted us to start trying soon as possible. he decided he wanted a little girl and chose a name. each time we tried baby making in bed he'd really go at it. different postions. he was really determined to get me pregnant. after sex he'd rub my tummy. we'd talk about all the babies we were gonna have. especially about the one we was trying to concieve. he'd talk about being a protective and loving father. a year we spent trying. and i finally got pregnant. we were both happy. i don't know where things went wrong. he started to always not be around. missed hospital appointments, scans and the birth. about a month after the baby was born, he just left. without a word. i was left distarught. i asked for child support but he refuses to give any. emotionally and fiancially. i don't understand. he wanted me pregnant with his child. he led me to believe he was going to take care of his child. so why has he left me to go at it alone?

SUCKER! You don't ask for child support you file for it with domestic relations and he pays whether he wants to or not. It probably would have been a clue that he planned on sticking around if you had gotten married before you tried to get pregnant. You've been played, common sense should have told you better. As they say if you play the fiddle you've gotta dance, so start dancing and don't be so naive next time. Better yet if you don't want to raise a kid on your own pack up his things, knock on the bf's door and hand him the kid, say you wanted one, now you got one, turn around and walk away. His tune will change REAL quick, if he believes for a minute that HE is going to be stuck with the kid he will suddenly want mommy around.

Certain men do not like being made to be responsible for something they were not consulted on. For instance if a woman in a monogamous relationship lies about being on birth control, some men will feel grossly betrayed the moment their girlfriend becomes pregnant, and may not feel like playing second fiddle to an infant. A large portion of women these days create monsters out of their infants by not introducing a set schedule immediately after birth. Instead they allow their infants to get use to being up all night thus putting a strain on the adults in the situation. For a man who didnt want to be a father in the first place, this situation creates for bitter feelings, especially when the woman uses said infant as a reason why she can never be intimate with him, because shes decided that shes a mommy now, and that he can go to hell. Happens way too often and I am frankly grossed out at the women who honestly think their being good moms by pushing their babies daddies away.

I'm sorry that happened. I wish it turned out different for you. Maybe he wanted the baby and was ready for it, in his mind. More than likely he didn't think about everything there is to raising a family. He got cold feet and ran away. He wasn't ready for the responsibility of being a father. On the other hand he may have said those words to make sure he had someone to have sex with. It's easy to say you're ready for a family and a future together with the woman you want.
Either way it all comes down to him being ready for that life. He wasn't ready for the responsibility and he wasn't ready to settle down. I hope you don't think all guys are like this. There are decent guys out there. We're just over looked sometimes or hard to find.

It could be that when he saw what a baby does to a women's body he got scared off.. you should go after childsupport on him and if your state paid the hospital bill as in Welfare.. then they will go after him.. it is not your fault.. hold your head up high and don't be ashamed that you loved him and look at your child and be proud... you know. lots of women get married.. their men go off to war and die.. and they are left with the child.. being single and haveing a child is not all that different.. alone is alone..

you have been blessed.take care of yourself and your child go to your court and get child support he can't tell you no the state will take care of that.and your not alone god is with you,join a single parents support group go to church,and as for the question why did he leave ? it's his loss not yours, but this is a life lesson and never forget what has happened.learn from it ! then next time you meet someone who tells you he loves you and wants children you let him know that if he loves you AND your child he will marry you and then you can plan a family together.

DON'T HAVE SEX UNTIL THE RING IS ON YOUR FINGER NEXT TIME.
