Stuck to your finger with glue, or stuck on your finger like too small? If it's glue, I would go to the doctors, if it's too small, start by getting your hand cold (not just the finger) Fingers are swollen in the morning, and swell in the heat. The cold temperature of your fingers will decrease the swelling, making it easier for the ring to come off. Once it is cold, use a little baby oil or kitchen oil to help it slide. Good luck.

If the soap and water thing doesn't work, don't tug at it!!! Let the swelling come down if you have been tugging at it, then try using baby oil or any other kind of oil, including cooking. If all of those things fail, you may have to resort to cutting your ring off. Go to a jeweller to have it done if you can. If there isn't a jeweller around, someone could cut it off for you if you have wire cutters. Just be very careful. Sorry for your situation and GOOD LUCK!

Very very cold water first. Cold weather and water shrinks your fingers (warm bloats them. that's why your ring gets stuck more in the summer) Do not use warm water. That's just crazy and will make it worse.
If the very very cold water doesn't work, add soap. Lots of it. Lather and continue to run under the coldest water you can get.
If you got it on, it'll come off.

How stuck? Soak your finger in ice water and take an anti- inflammitory. Good luck. if it doesn't work I'd cut it off( the ring) or go the E.R.

Try Dawn dish washing liquid. That's what I was told to use when I broke my finger and had to get my ring off. It worked!

I have heard many people slath MARGARINE (stick) on thier finger above the knuckle to slip off thier ring.
Also, try to COOL your finger (hand) so the skin on your finger will shrink in volume.
Either in a refridgerator or freezer or a bowl of ice should help.
Just be nearby a RESTROOM when you certainly will need to use it afterwards.
"I" can't help that.
Good luck!

the whole soap and water thing (like everyone's said) works.. just make sure the drain to the sink is PLUGGED.
also, if youve been trying at it for a while and it's swollen.. you may wanna put a cold pack on it a while to reduce swelling.. then once it's normal size again.. soap, water and TWIST it off edging it up slowly..
be sure to check that sink drain, though!
