where are we going? How will we know when we get there, and do we need sandwiches?

i hope its okay if i sort of take this question seriously amongst the lightheartedness...

see, i have a seven month old. my husband is in iraq. he is keeping a journal for him. i was 8 month preggo when he had to go...he should be home when our son is 10 months...not long now...)

but in the journal he says to our baby that he hopes that he is strong enough to say "i dont know"

sometimes we feel we have to have the answers to all the questions of life. about God and death and the stars...

he said sometimes we have to dream and question and wonder without feeling like we must know with certainty.

maybe if we all just sort of had ideas without solid beliefs we wouldn't be fighting so many wars...and maybe there would be more love and tolerance in the world...what with not thinking we all are right and others are so wrong.

so to answer your question of "where are we going?"

i do not know.

"how will we know when we get there?"

again. i do not know.

i sure as hell hope so. i love turkey and ham with cheddar.

We are going to drive in two cars to Camelback water park. Yes, we will need sandwiches because the food there is too expensive. We will go if the rain lets up, that is.

You are going to a surprise location, it was your car's idea, but I am guessing somewhere northeast. You will know when you get there because your car will no longer want to turn on. You should take plenty of sandwhiches, I prefer Chicken , but you can eat whatever you want. You should also take some chips. Have fun, send a post card!

I am always going to work ......I know when I am there. I always take sandwiches cos they are too expensive to buy, and I am a bit fussy what I eat.
