I would look at the colors that you have and see what is duplicate's then keep the better one. Hell I have a crap load of make up too and I just cant' seem to want to throw any of it away....hell make up cost to much anyways but it's addicting isn't it...lol

How old is the makeup? If it is over 3 mos. old, pitch it. Sometimes an eyeliner, mascara, and lipgloss is all a person needs. If you have makeup you haven't used yet, why not set aside some time and create new looks? There is obviously a reason why you bought it in the first place. Definetely keep the ones you use the most.

Oh you sound like me!;) I've been looking at all the m/up I'll never use, because I just have too much & so I've been throwing the oldest out. Next I'm going to see what I thought I'd like & just don't use. I can't believe I'm having such a hard time parting with stuff I'll never use, but sits there wasting space. The worst part is that I'll probably get more, so I have to make sure I start using up some stuff. I'm a m/up addict!:)

Get rid of anything more than 3 months old.
Get rid of anything expired...
Get rid of things you have NOT used in the past 3 months.

Keep anything still fresh.

Be sure you have one or two decent types of mascara, one eyeliner pencil in a soft brown shade... get a lip gloss.... and some mineral powder....there need not be more, unless you are out on the town late and dressed up, in which case you may wear some lipstick, and some bolder eyeshadow.

Generally, you should throw out all make up older than 2 years. Anything that has changed color, smells weird, or has a different texture can be tossed. Next, throw out the lesser of anything product that you have 2+ of (two brown eye shadows, two pink glosses), leaving only one. Buy a nice organizer, and keep the stuff you use most often in the front, and stuff you use occasionally in the back.

Don't get rid of all of it. However, dump anything you haven't used recently, and if it's old and getting kinda junky, pitch it. To avoid another "make-up overload," buy a makeup bag that's pretty small. That way, you have limited room for make-up, so you don't collect too much again.

You should get rid of the older stuff but there is nothin wrong with having lots of makeup unless it is like all the same who know you may need it.

Try organizing your makeup into different groups, like everyday, evening, waterproof, webcam, etc. Store the makeup you wear for special occasions in pretty evening bags-(like to match a prom dress). That way it doesn't clutter up your space and looks nice.

well if you know that any of it is expired or too old - more than 2 years old - then out it goes. then decide what you want to keep or not - perhaps you could pass other stuff to your mum or sister if you dont want it. make up costs a lot when you add it all up - you dont want to throw away stuff that could still be used, and don't keep buying new stuff unless you really need it. eg. mascara you can replace every 2-3 months, but not everything else.
