More advice please for my friend?

My friend recently got in touch with her ex, (after not seeing him in five years), and want to hook up with him again. Yet, he lives in another state than she does. They have been communicating but now she is scared. She told me he was looking for a roommate and found one from the UK. The roommate so happens to be a girl and he is the only one that lives there. I told her not to worry but I think he is cheating on her or he is dating this UK girl. What do you people think, sounds like dating and he is two-timing? I do not want to lie to her but I don't want to hurt her either. I want to give her the best advice I can, please help with any suggestions of what is going on and what should I say to her?

Well I think that he must have something going with the UK girl why else go to the trouble of getting her moved in he could have been cautious and thought about what your friend would think if he cared but you know men they are horn dogs in my honest opinion if he hasnt done anything yet with her he plans to and your friend should go down there and talk to her and him to see where they stand not that it could keep that UK girl from lying but if you friend is smart she will know a liar when she sees one

Ask her why she divorced him in the first place and how he has changed that behavior. Something made the marriage fail, and if that hasn't changed, you need to ask her why she is wasting her time with someone who doesn't love her.

Cheating on her in what way? Communicating doesn't give her a right to define his life, she lost that right when they divorced. Unless he has committed to her, then she doesn't have any reason to complain or worry. If he has said he is committed to her, then she needs to reexamine his motivation in telling her that he was going to live with another girl. She can simply tell him that she isn't comfortable with the arrangement, and make her decision based on his behavior.
