Neither one work or recognize when you plug something into it. I've tried different items to plug in and don't know what happened. It was working fine before.

Something wrong with M$ Windows...
I reccomend you to reinstall the Windows XP

Go to the device manager...
Start>Settings>Control Panel>System>Hardware>Device Manger
At the bottom of the list that opens there should be a listing for Universal Serial Bus Controllers. Click on the plus sign. There should be 1 or more USB Root Hubs. Right click on each and select properties. Then click on power management. Check to see if windows is set to turn the devices off to save power. If so uncheck it to see if that fixes your problems.

there is 2 ways u might can fix it 1. go to control panel look for system go to device man.look for confits in usb it might be missing driver it part os os 2.or u can try windows restore go back a restore point a few days when it work good or ck comp for virus/spy just to be sure i hope this help u good luck
