I have a self-catering holiday home in Kendal, Lake District UK. I have it listed on a web page but never get any business from that source - does anyone know any websites which will advertise my holiday home for free? I am not able to exchange links and the holiday home page is not the main page of the website.

And to Leo and all those that complain about second home owners... tourism is the largest source of income in the Lake District - if homes weren't available to rent then the economy of the area would collapse. For your information we also rent several properties exclusively to local occupants. I was born in a poor area of London - I worked hard to earn enough to buy these properties... what's your excuse?

People like you, buying homes to let for holidays, are making it impossible for people like me, young people living in the Lake District, to afford a home. Disgraceful.
