If you haven't seen the movie, DON'T READ ON BECAUSE THERE ARE SPOILERS BELOW.
I'd have to say that the worst part of Snakes in a Plane was the ending.
Why is it that EVERY SINGLE movie that takes place on a JUMBO JET allways involves the age old cliche of an unqualified character magically landing the jet.
I think that the director should not have killed off the co-pilot because I could blieve that even having been bitten, he could survive long enough to land the plane.
#2 The character who lands the plane claims he was trained playing Playstation 2.
#1 There ARE NO FLIGHT SIMULATORS on PLAYSTATION 2.
#2 Even if PS2 had a simulator, SONY stopped making the analog dual FLIGHT - joystick back during 1996 so even if he had a flight sim for PS2 he'd have nothing to use it with but the dual shockcontroller which in no way resembles the cockpit of a jet

I could have believed it if he claimed he learned to fly playing Microsoft Simulator 2006 or something but not on PS2.
I am former US Air Force and the only program I can think of which even comes close to flying an F-16 is FALCON 4.0 and even then you need a really good HOTAS system like the X-45 saitek to play the game properly.
Why did the director have to put this stupidity in the movie. I was able to enjoy the movie despite its lunacy BUT, THIS part in particular stuck with me - because flying was my livelihood. I'm really bothered by this.

There were so many DUMB moments in this movie--it's insane, but (in the ending) making a scene flash from getting off the plane to SURFING??? ---That was thrown together and the lines just didnt mesh well with the moment.
Each snakes species' venom had a different "death sentence"- some would kill you in 5 minutes, others in 5 hrs.
The co-pilot survived simply because it took longer for the venom to "kill" him. But in the scene where he Finally dies, you see a different species of snakes in the background (cockpit) meaning it was these later snakes caused his death.
Overall, this film was simply FUN--- though there were some unrealistic angles , especially the random "flight-simulator miracle", it was sheer mindless action entertainment.

the worst part of the movie was the original concept. despite the flying capabilities of a ps2 user, it lacks imagination. anyone that would produce such simple minded entertainment is either doing their first movie, or looking for a quick million, then off to tahiti.

i have to agree with the whole Playstation2 flying lessons! it had every cliche' from every disaster film in the movie...from newly married couple who scared to fly to young couple wanting to join the mile high club. i personally wanted more gore..but im a sicko i suppose. the ending sucked but hey...the movie's called snakes on a plane for goodness sakes...haha.i wasnt going in with high hopes of it winning any oscars. hahaha

There was a bad part? I must have missed that. If you're looking for realism, try going to movies not titled "Snakes on a Plane".

Oh I didn't watch that movie. But I do want to watch the movie "The Covenant". It looks so cool and so Sci-Fi! (I like anything that's Science Fiction).
