1. He's responsible for his own actions as are you.

2. If you think it's just his job to look good for you, you are mistaken. Many couples forget that animal magnetism is important, and only dress for the world outside, instead of including the mate.

3. If you are overweight, he has justifiable concern that you do not put your health at risk, but no excuse for cheating.

4. Once someone cheats, it's kind of a lousy way of trying to get out of a relationship that they no longer want to be in. If he's told you before, how he feels about the weight, and you didn't take him seriously, I don't know what to say.

5. Not your fault, your choice to be you, regardless of what turns him on. He took action, but not in a kindly way.

Good luck and warm regards!

absolutley not. If he is saying he cheated because you gained weight that is just an excuse. It would have been something else if you had not gained weight. If he is a cheater he would have done it anyway. Don't beat yourself up over it no guy is worth it.

nope. he should love you no matter what, if he's the right one.

good to find out now than twelve years into a marriage though. If it IS during a marriage, dont expect that to be the last time.

cheaters have told me "once a cheater, always a cheater.."

I stayed with someone who left me for his ex when his daughter was a month old.. worse thing i think i have ever done. never did i get past it and we never got councelling. now it's in shambles.

No that was just his excuse. He probably would have cheated sooner or later whether you gained weight or not.

Hell no. He is supposed to love you for better or for worse. He is just using your weight to justify what he did, but there is no excuse.

No he should love you no matter what size you are. You shouldn't blame yourself because of what he did. If he can't accept you as you are then you should get someone who can.

you women are so full of it!! if your man became fat and sloppy and lost his job it would be just a matter of time before you dumped his butt for a new love. so why do you think the same principles dont apply to you?????????? you girls wanted equality and now you have it. so quid pro quo!!!!!!!!!!!!
