Yahoo Messenger?

Question

Okay, i'm an amateur, so explain this to me like I'm a 6-year-old. I recently got a webcam as a gift and I downloaded Yahoo Messenger.
Problem is, I don't know how to use it, like to do the simplest things, like, for example, how do I talk to johndoe500?

PS. If you can include a site where I can get help, I'll be grateful.

click on the yellow smiley face with the + sign on it, type in their screenname and click next, next again and finish. They will then be on your buddy list, double click their name and it opens a chat window, type and hit enter or send. click on webcam at the top of the chat window to open up your webcam

There are a few simple steps to follow in order to setup your new web cam.
If a CD came with the web cam,insert it and follow the onscreen instructions.This will install the drivers and any accompanying
software.

message Jon doe then hit .. web cam it will go on then he will accept or not waiting then he will see u . the ring around the web cam is ur focus thingy it will adjust if u move it to be clearer.. and behave on it as .. people are out there with their web cams videoing urs when ur on if they have one.. on the other end .. so..if its logo tech u can adjust settings and on messenger go into preferences and adjust settings like always ask to view my web cam so the whole world ain't invited.. and set it small or large large is best. and then unclick view my web cam option when it is on as u don't want some drive by messenger person to hit it and see ya lol
