If you are charting your CM...how can you tell the difference between EWCM and semen???

If you are charting your Cervical Mucus...or Fluid (same thing.) How can you tell the difference in Egg White CM and Semen...very simple question I thought women TTC would understand.

For somebody who knows about the Billings method, those terms and abbreviations are perfectly clear!
It's hard to tell the difference between EWCM and S (or SF for Seminal Fluid). That's why during BIP you have to have intercours only on alternate evenings. If it's during the luteal phase, then it doesn't matter, as long as you recognize Peak and abstained for three days after Peak.
Besides, EWCM is stretchy, and usually SM is not.

Okay, be forwarned, this is a bit gross.... but if you stretch EWCM between your fingers - it will stay stretchy. Semen will stretch a bit and then start to break down and turn white and creamy like.

CM is more stretchy... trying hard to find decent ways to describe it.....kind of like eggwhites....
