I think in order for something like to be popular, the entire world would have to go through major social, political, and religious changes. I personally don't see anything wrong with cloning. People have been cloning plants for hundreds of years. Cloning could solve hunger problems, fatal injury type problems, even provide grounds for throwaway type research, such as genetic coding, and the correlations between genes and diseases.
One thing I hate is when people argue that a plant is ok to clone because it has no soul. Well, why would a plant not have one, and a dog not have one, but a human does? I personally feel the whole idea of a soul is garbage. That's another story though...

It is important to distinguish between the two types of cloning: therapeutic and reproductive. Therapeutic involves just the creation of organs or cells having the same genetic nuclear code as the person it's to be used on. This basically eliminates any possibility that the transplanted cells/organs will be rejected by the body, since they are genetically your own.
Reproductive cloning is where your goal is to create a whole human being, essentially an identical twin who is much younger than yourself. At this point in time, reproductive cloning is still imperfect because the current technology results in a clone with shortened telomeres, essentially it is born with cells that are already your age. So for that reason I am not in favor of repro. cloning. I am NOT in favor, though, of banning research involving either thera. or repro. cloning. Both hold much potential for medical advances, and the technologies in both fields WILL improve.
For more on this issue, I highly recommend reading the book "Liberation Biology" by Ronald Bailey, especially ch. 3 which covers embryonic stem cell & cloning issues, both in scientific and moral/ethical terms.

i dont approve of it unless we seriously decrease to bout 3 or 4 in the world but i think it will be tried but the way chinas going there will never be shortage of humans so we will never need clones but if you really want clones they should be sent out to fight wars and do other things like that because you can replace a clone but not your self

If there was a way to clone one's own organs for transplant without defects to replace the defective one then yes, I would approve of cloning.

I think it will one day. But in my opinion, cloning should be used only for medical purposes. But other than that, no I wouldn't approve cloning.

definitely, if to go to war yep.
But actually, there is no way that go made human in order to duplicate themselves this way.
If the world is losing people, which will so not happen, i guess this would be what God wants so even though we would clone people, that would not stop the amount of real people living inthe world.
so i am definitly would be against teh clonig.

definitely
i am looking to have a clone of myself
do you know where i can get this done
and it is very hypocritical of Christians to act outraged about that .
it is how the Adams race originated in the first place .
by genetic engineering and cloning ,by The Anunaki .who created slaves to mine gold for them .
everybody knows that (if they live beyond the illuminates mental control that is )
all these cromagnum,Neanderthal ,homo erectus etc .(who lived all at the same time .and in the same place ,near Zimbabwe the oldest gold mines on earth ,) where their genetic experiments ,until they created homo sapian
