Getting rid of private donations just opens the door for more of your tax dollars paying for candidates you don't want while closing the door to third parties because they won't have access to the funds the BIG 2 have. Use you head.
And a woman will never be president in the US because in general, American women hate other women.
So yes, I will bet that a rich White Man will be elected president. But I hope he has libertarian principles.

I would be surprised if the Vegas oddsmakers would even touch this bet. No female or non-white (never mind poor) candidate will be president in my expected lifetime (I am under 50).

The last 5 elections.. check it out, the richest guy won ! ..and yes of course they are white. The only way you are going to get a person of color or a woman in the white house is if you get rid of the lobbyists and their soft money..
