He's deployed to Iraq, and we can't talk often, he just left on the 10th and I am bored, lonely and sad, and don't know how to feel better. Any kind words or suggestions?

I too applaud you and your husband for his sacrifice for our country. We ARE proud of him and you. I do have a suggestion, however. You will find it easier to pass the time if you invest in the lives of others as well. Volunteer at your local food bank, senior residence, Boys and Girls Club, Big Brothers/Big Sisters and help those who don't have the support they need. You will fill your life with additional purpose and not only will the time go past more quickly you will grow in ways you can only imagine. I realize you may be working as well or have a family at home, but this is one more way you can fill your life with purpose (as your husband has done) until he has returned from overseas.

I know how you are feeling right now, believe me, so what I can say to you is it won't be that long before he gets back, I am proud of our men in the military, and I wish him and you the best.
