Go to direct election of the president - then the winner of the election would get to serve. That would get rid of that ridiculous, outdated anachronism known as the electoral college.
Passage of John McCain's bill for campaign finance reform would make for a better and fairer campaign.
Allow major third party candidates to take part in the debates - even though we know they won't win, they have a right to be heard.
OR....do away with the office of president and have a prime minister like the rest of the civilized world with an election apt to be called at any time instead of every 4 years.
OR....have the president serve one 6-year term. As it is, as soon as a president takes office, he starts campaigning for a second term. With one 6-year term, they can spend all their time governing which is what they're supposed to do.

Go back to paper ballots being counted by people and verified by another group as it is done.
Make it so that anyone not just the ultra rich can have equal exposure and ability to run for office.
It still is We The People right?
No more two party systems, everyone gets a voice.
And no more special interest groups, lobbyists, and or big corporations dumping cash into the system to beat out the little guys.

First off we need to limit corporate power. We must decide here in American if materialism is worth world violence. Americans must realize that are shopping habits and our consumption is the root cause of hatred. We are living a meaningless life. We eat things that are man invented which cause disease. We distract ourselves with television and other mindless entertainment. Until we learn what the other countries stand for or against we will have war. Our corporations use the people in other countries to combat our rights. Ask for more money, they'll replace you. Ask again they'll outsource your job. Then What? we need to reevaluate our reasons for being here then adjust. Me I have no desire for material wealth...

abolish the electoral vote and make the popular vote count.....just think Clinton would never have won a second term and gore might would have apologised to Bin Laden after 911
