8 months ago, i became friends with this guy online and we recently exchanged numbers. He is a friend of a friend.
We chat online everyday, text each other once in a while but never talk on the phone.
Im starting to think that he thinks i like him...how can i find this out for sure without letting him know? I dont like him, and i dont think he likes me in more than a friendly way...but im getting paranoid!

We dont talk on the phone because i dont want to talk on the phone (i feel that its going a bit too far)

Be honest, tell him he is a great friend and you are lucky to have someone who is like a brother to you. He'll get the message. But if he doesn't, limit your contact. Its a computer, you have complete control.

It's easy to be open with someone online, it's easier for many people to verbalise feelings and make conversation in the slightly disconnected manner conversations are composed online.
I think many people get to see this closeness as the basis of a relationship, Maybe you should just let him know that you aren't looking for anything more than a friend, just to make sure you aren't putting out the wrong signals. If you dont want to tell him directly that you don't have feelings for him talk about other people in your life that are important and other relationships.

do you have a crush on someone? bring them into the conversation, my thought process on this is, if you are talking about liking someone, you wouldn't say it to someone you have feelings for, so hopefully he will realise you only want to be friends with this man and you don't fancy him or anything.

Don't be so childish. Be honest and open - let him know that you enjoy his contact, and ask him if he knows any guys who might be a good boyfriend for you.
