If you need to read your boyfriends email without his permission, then maybe the question you should be asking is "Where can I get help to build self confidence/esteem?"
It is illegal to open anyone's mail be it physical or electronic.
If you can't trust the person you are with, then the relationship will never last and you are simply wasting your time as well as his.

You don't need to reading other peoples e-mail. It is private and none of your business.

If he's dumb enough to give you his password. And if it's a web-based account. But he's going to know that someone's been in there when the messages show up as read.
