It's normal to feel that way sometimes, but not if it occurs often. See a conselor. BTW, where did you end up going if not Princeton or Yale?

I've been feeling like a failure for the past couple of years. I am eager to continue on with my education, but I am worried that I can't measure up to other graduate students and that when the time comes, I feel that I will never be able to get a job because I am not good enough. What a shame to spend so much time and money on school, but in the end I am just scared to death that it's just not enough. =(

No, its not normal and is one sign of depression. I feft this same way a lot of days of my life and I'm bipoler and on medication. Still sometimes now that feeling comes back, probably stress but I would talk to someone about it, not suggesting a shrink maybe a friend or family member.

Absolutely! We all have these moments. It's great to set high expectations for yourself, but they have to be realistic. Not many of us could get into these ivy league schools. You should be proud of the accomplishments you have made and focus on those. You are not a failure!

If you have no faith in yourself, how are you ever going to accomplish anything with a defeatist attitude?Remember this, no batter can get a hit, unless he takes some swings at the ball.
