Why is it that Israel may have nuclear weapons when it is the one that kills so many civilians, children etc.?

Everybody know's that the USA and Israel have nuclear weapons. But the real problem is the fact that we have been thought to belive that Israel and the USA are the "good nations" and all other countries wich disagrees with them are the "evil ones" while actually it's the other way around!!

You need to read more. Israel has not been targeting civilians as has Hezbolah. All Hezbolah's rockets are aimed at civilian population centers. They also struck first. Hezbolah also uses human shields. That is, many of their weapons are placed in schools, hospitals, personal homes, and the like. That way they can complain when civilians get hurt or killed. If Israel were not being so careful, they could have taken out a lot more of Hezbolah's rockets and such. Oh by the way, Israel has never used nuclear weapons. If Hezbolah had them, they would be using them by the end of the week. The only whining I hear is you complaining about one of America's best friends in this world. That makes you unimformed or disloyal to our great nation. Oh by the way again, the joke is you.

I almost think Obama would launch nuclear missiles against Israel at this point. I can't believe he'd say Israel should go back to pre-67 borders! It is clear that as long as he is in the White House, Israel has not a friend, but an enemy, in the US. If I were in the armed forces, I'd run off to Canada before having to go and fight for the muslims against Israel.

There is allways collateral damage in a war and what do you expect when the cowardly terrorist hide among innocent civilians to fire their rockets. they are the ones responsible for the deaths not Israel, and are you forgetting the innocents they kill by suicide bombings? because Israel wont use them except in self defense. Lebanon was started by terrorists kidnapping and rocketing their country, if some one in Mexico did the same and the Mexican government said sorry we cant get back your soldiers , do you honestly think the USA would not send a force to get them back?
Look at Iraq they were not even a threat to the USA.
Iran makes other extreme Muslim countries nervous, north Korea's are taught that the great leader invented penicillin, powered flight, radio, TV, the internal combustion engine and regularly attacks its neigbour.

The Israelis met lethal attacks by the Hezbollah terrorists and held them in check with conventional weapons. It is commendable that the Israelis DID NOT USE nuclear weapons, not even tactical ones.

israel may or may not have nuclear weapans..it is not govt. policy to disclose...one and the main reason..is to defend itself --unfortunately israel and the jewish people -- all along their history (some 5,000 yrs.) accumulated lots of ennemies or jealousies...so -- their being armed is normal, natural and a necessity. if the Israel-i had a choice between spending the armement's money or spending it on arm's...believe it or not...he would rather..go to the beach and enjoy life..unfortunately as one response clearly stated it..there are "some wackoos" out there..and to prevent them from attacking you...you have to spend..on armements..voila. a short answer to your long question.

If it were not the declared and actual policy of Israel's neighbors to kill every Israeli they can, Israel wouldn't be killing anybody. Given that Iran has, in so many words, stated its intention to obliterate Israel from the face of the earth, it is clearly necessary for Israel to be able to defend itself from such threats.

And what about the idiots that strap a bomb on and walk in a bus station, coffee shop, or whatever else they do over there in Israel and kill their women and children. What do you have to say about that? Don't tell me, freedom of religion, funny my religion doesn't require me to strap a bomb to my butt and blow up a bunch of people, but hey thats just me!
