It doesn't make any difference who asks, really.
A friend to me is simply someone accepts who you are and looks out for your interests along with his/hers.
A really good friendship boarders love, in which one places the other's interests above one's own.

The girl who has asked this to you must be very intelligent. Friendship between a boy and a girl is platonic love. I.E. love in which no sexual desire for each other is involved. This is a very delicate and sensitive issue. Our society does not accept a man woman relationship to be platonic. Research also shows that attraction between the opposite sexes starts from physique. But if you can develop and maintain a real friendship with a girl without sexual desire for her in your mind and defying social pressure you are really great. Can you really keep your relationship platonic? Think for yourself.

Friendship is being able to be myself and accepted unconditionally,some one to be there for me on my good days and my bad days and vise verse this person wont be judge mental however they will let me know when I'm wrong yet they still stand in my corner no matter what choice i make because they are my friend

friendship is to be able to be there when someone needs you. To help out when she have some problems, to be with her when she's happy or just be someone to talk to and to have an exchange of ideas. It is fun to have real friends, cause these kind of people are those that truly knows you for what you really are.
