I want to know how to get to Goa in October/November, can anyone advise me what will be the easiest way for me to travel from Manchester, England, with as little flights as possible as I am not a well travelled person, also the time it will take alltogether to get there and around how much it would cost for a return ticket back to Manchester, thanks. Has anyone got an idea of who would be the best person to contact as in travel agents/airlines etc.

Take a flight to Bombay then by road. it is about 250-300 miles
should bring you to Panjim or a flight from Bombay to Panjim (don't forget your Portuguese dictionary. also go Late Oct earlier than that and you will experience the monsoons. have fun I was there in 1975. I spent a few months roaming all over India as a student traveler. Goa was over swamped with hippies then. While I might have looked like one. I did not hang with them. I was a lone Cat. Have a good trip. be street wise.

The easiest way to travel would be by charter as it is the most convenient and cheapest way to reach directly to Goa. Try the web for the best deal on charter flights

maybe tourist flight directly to Goa is cheap, but I think cheapest is to take a retour from Mumbai and just take a train to Goa
That is acceptable distance and cheap.
Then you can see also some nice things in Mumbai.

bus is very low-priced and fairly secure motorcycle for more beneficial or less one hundred and fifty Rp an afternoon, yet they force like they have left their brains at abode, so it truly is particularly risky or Taxi, and they're going to cost depending on their mood, and it truly is going to oftentimes be a minimum of double the "regulated" fee
