I have only been to the ocean a couple times when i was on a family vacation. we went to The Gulf Shores Alabama it was sweet the sand was white i thought it was cool. we swam in the ocean a couple different times and i boogy boarded that was fun. we went out on the ocean in this 18 foot boat to do some fishing. we almost capsized getting out there though the waves on the main channel were like 10-11ft they were going way over the top of the boat. but once we got out of the channel the water was calm and i caught like 5 fish i think they were King Mackeral. It was fun.

I live about 15 miles inland from the ocean! Sunrise is an experience . You will believe when you see it! Full moon rising and the stars! Saw A meteor shower from a boat about 10 miles out!!!WOW! It is where I go when I need to recharge my inner self! Next weekend [if it doesn't rain] we are going camping on the beach [ there are places you can] and surf fish all night !

I live in Montana, but was rasied at the beach in So. Calif. It really is a wonderful place to be....the water, waves, bright sunlight on the water. Can't go back - too expensive, I'll away miss it.

i visited galveston island a few weeks ago and fell in love. i'm sick of the dry assed heat so i moved . ocean dwellers are friendlier and the mood in general is so much better than up north. i'll never leave the water again

The beach is great, and nude beaches are the most awesome of all! If you get a chance to visit one, go for it. You'll absolutely love it!
