She's black. Her grandmother was creole and indian and her mom is light skinned so that's why she's light skinned.

both of Tina Knowles parents were black. she was born with French and Cherokee Indian descent. So technically, beyonce has some white in her. about 5%. But then again most blacks have some sort of white in their family since the slave owners were having sex with the slaves during that time period.

No. Her mom is part Louisiana Creole though. And I think Creoles in Louisiana descended from French speaking people who mixed with the blacks and Indians so she probably has some French blood in her. (Almost every American is mixed to some degree!)

Both her parents are black. You have to remember some black people are lighter skined than others and some are a lot more darker colored.
