Both were killed in 1968... a very turbulent year here in the USA. There are some conspiracy theories that believe Dr. King was killed because he was becoming too powerful a voice in the black community and might organize an uprising. Some feel that Bobby Kennedy had made enemies in his pursuit of organized crime when he was attorney general. All interesting stuff... imagine if they had both lived longer?

Coincidence. Both were killed by nut-cases, acting alone. There has never been any serious proposal of a linkage between them.
