You'll hate them more if you try any of the stupid answers I'm sure you'll get. Why not try the opposite? Love, respect and cooperation usually works unless there is something seriously wrong with 1 or both of your parents. Don't run away or do something you'll really regret later on. There are too many totally wacked out nuts out there WAITING to prey on kids in need of attention. Unless your parents are abusing you you're better off where your at for now. If they are REALLY abusing you (and DON'T LIE ABOUT THAT) then tell another adult or call the child abuse hotline or your local police.

Why do you hate them? Are they abusive to you? Or do you simply not like having rules and regulations?

Sometimes when you are a teen, it is very difficult to get along with your parents because they seem so bossy and you are changing and getting ready to be an adult.

However, I do know of a 17 year old girl who has a terribly mean and vindictive mother who only wanted a son and not a daughter. She has one of each and treats the daughter like she is not even a human being. The parents are divorced and as soon as the poor girl turns 18, she is going to move in with her father. By the way, she is an excellent student and does not get into trouble - the mother is just mean.

So, if your parents are not abusive, try to understand that all of you are going through many changes and try to be patient with them, as they should be with you. Be respectful and polite and don't give them reason to get angry with you.

Good luck!!

It all depends if you have a reason to hate them or not. People who say you are mean should find out why you hate them first.
The point is you shouldn't try make other people's lives miserable even if they make yours a misery.
Grow up turn 18 and leave.
However if they are not making your life a misery you should ask yourself why you want to make their lives miserable, perhaps a good psychologist can help.

and so what makes you think the whole world needs to revolve around you and what makes you happy?

Kids with attitudes like yours make everybody miserable. How about trying to make the world a better place, rather than more miserable? That would be a novel thought - and may just make you a happier person for having been more thoughtful of someone or something besides yourself.

You hate your parents? Are you just mad at them or do you really hate them?

They say that living well is the best revenge.

If your parents are really terrible then you need to talk to a counselor...if not, then you need to talk to your parents.

Oh, as for a tip, nothing makes me crazier than leaving dirty clothes and dishes all over the house...I'm a parent and that would drive me mad!

Your tips are to be carved for ever. Lord Krishna expressed in his life PURE love. He has shown to the world that a love without any impurity can exist between man & woman. His expression of Divine love is misunderstood & misinterpreted Krishna had many women disciples but one favourite Radha. Radha realized that Krishna was interested not in her form but in her soul

You better be good to your parents. If it had not been for them you would not be in the world. Gods fifth commandment is
"Honor your father and your mother, so that your days may be long in the land the LORD your God is giving you.”

(Exodus 20:12 NRSV)

God said we are to do this. Not to what they may deserve but because God said to do it.
You should be thankful everyday that you still have your parents. One day they will be gone and then you will be so sorry you hated them but it will be too late.

I hope the little brat that you are will be kicked out of the house...you'll see that life wasn't so bad with them. You'll appreciate too late that living to your parent's house didn't cost a thing: you have a roof, food, clothe, you go to school, etc. How will you afford all that???

Oh don't say that! Your parents love you, and you love them really! It's just a phase you're going through as you yearn for more independence. Be patient, forgive them their faults, just as they will forgive yours! Try to be more understanding - it's not easy being a parent, especially of a teenage girl!
