There not morbidly hairy, and it is a rumor that if you shave them they will grow back thicker.. I knwo people think that but it doesnt even make sense, the fact is that when you shave them you are cutting of the thin part so when they grow back it will seem thicker at first and than even out to how it was normally...

If your hair on your arms is very dark and easily noticed by other people, you might want to consider getting your arm hair professionally waxed or lasered. Shaving doesn't work so well. It's even more embarrassing, I think, to have someone touch your arms and feel them all prickly and shaved than it is to have noticeably long/dark arm hair. You can stop shaving now and use a moisturizing lotion especially made to make body hair more smooth. That way, your hair won't be so prickly. It will take time to get your hair back to normal, but keep using the lotion and it may end up being less noticable than before you shaved it. If you really have a problem with body hair, try seeing a professional.

I know I am fabulous!

NO do not shave your arms. It depends on what nationality you are - if your hispanic and have harry black arms then I'd lighten the hair, but if your an American and have light brown or blond hairy arms just leave it - I had hairy arms when I was younger - I'm a white girl born and raised in America - and now my arms are almost hairless. Don't worry about it - really - it's not that big of a thing.

I have heard of some competitive swimmers shaving their arms to try to be faster.... Maybe try waxing? It's not a big deal. My recommendation is watch the movie "Human Nature" and you will look at your arm hair in a very different way.

No, you should not shave your arms. Most women don't worry about it unless the hair on their arms is really long and dark and scary looking. And, if it is, don't shave it - use some kind of hair remover like Nair, or get them waxed. You shouldn't have to worry about shaving your arms and getting bristley 5 o'clock shadows on them between shaving times.

I actually had my arms waxed for a while until the hair started thinning down.
Now I shave it about once every two weeks, to keep it short.
I feel it makes my arms look more toned and my skin softer.
It's also more feminine in my opinion.

No, whatever you do, don't shave your arms. This will just make the hair come back with a vengeance! I would suggest dying the hairs or waxing them, but don't shave or you will just have stubbly arms!

Don't shave! It makes hair grow in thicker. If it's really bothering you, you can have them waxed. They have at home kits you can get and wal-mart or most salons have waxing, but it's a little expensive!

Good Luck!

Yes, I shave. I don't like waxing, I have having to grow it out that long to do it.
