City of New Orleans
Crocodile Rock
Fun, Fun, Fun
It's My Party
Leader of the Pack
Mama Said
Mrs. Robinson
Beyond the Sea
The Lion Sleeps Tonight
Turn Turn Turn
Unchained Melody
Under the Boardwalk
You've Got a Friend

I AM a golden oldie, so of course I listen to Golden Oldies. I'd have to say I have no real favorite song. Just about anything by the Eagles is good, or by America

Not on oldies stations much because they carry too much from the lame decade -- the 1970's. On CD yes! 50's 60's and 80's and if you consider 90's golden oldies count me in!

Favorite song? Are you kidding? with 100,000 songs and counting in my CD collection it's REALLY hard to choose a favorite. OK I'll pick a great one from the lame decade:

Video Killed the Radio Star - Buggles 1979

Absolutely! I've been a huge music fan since the very early 60's, and I'd say a good 95% of my music library (which is quite large) consists of music pre-dating 1980.
It's literally impossible to choose just one, since there are dozens and dozens I'll play depending on my mood...throw out disco and bubblegum (well, there were a couple I liked) and you'll always get my attention on oldies questions.
Too bad YA can't come up with a music sub-category for oldies stuff...I'm seeing more and more great questioners (brainstorm, pappabear, myself2006) regarding this time period.

psssttt...The Monotones!

Constantly, and I have way too many favorites to count. A couple would be Knights in White Satin by The Moody Blues and Beginnings by Chicago

There really are too many to pick a favorite. It all depends on what mood I'm in.

But I never get tired of "Let It Be" by the Beatles. And there are different versions of it, so I like to listen to all of them at some time or another.

I like old R+B. I have a bunch on my I-pod. To pick one favorite would be too tough.
