why has everyone gotten so addicted to the internet its like nobody goes outside to meet people anymore?

Hi, Cutie !! how are you doing today? yes, it is true now in days nobody wants to go outside to meet people because of the Internet. I think that the Internet has made people lazy now in days, mostly kids and teenagers, the Internet is taking over sports, jobs and television... i remember that back then in the 80's when i was a teenager everything was totally different we used to have fun, meet people everywhere, play outside and have fun all time.. now i see myself, and i feel like if I'm trapped inside a jail.. more than 95% of humans are addicted to the Internet. sometimes i asked myself can we live without Internet? i don't think so... wow!! we sure need help !! but thanks to the Internet I'm answering your question... I dont think everyone is addicted. I use the Internet often but I still spend more time socializing with people and I see a lot of people out and about and I even know a few people who do not even have a computer in their home because they hate them / have no use for them
