personally i love it ive been to the rockies 3 times and it always intrigues me one year i climbed to the top of a moutain alone in the middle of the day (it was in a place called Tin Cup Colorado) it was awesome the air was so fresh and brisk, the top of the mountain still had snow on it and it was in the middle of July, what are your thoughts?

ahh yes i was prepared with my my 15" hunting knife just in case of any threats it is actually not that dangerous i did not see anything but muledeer and jack rabbits

Great question! I have been camping in the mountains for many years. I absolutely love being out in nature, sleeping under the stars, cooking over an open fire pit! It is very relaxing and one of the best feelings one can experience!
Definition of camping is with a tent, on the ground - no campers or trailers!

Rocky mountain high in Colorado! It is indescribable!! I can't put it into words you have to feel it for yourself! If you get a chance go to the hills just north of Phoenix at night! The stars and the twinkling lights of the city merge! The town is in a bowl so beautiful! The Rockies are my faves !

oh i love camping,gazing out at the stars in the dark night sky,lay on my back taking in the peace and quite into my mind. After a very good nights sleep,i wake to the sound of the wildlife instead of the noise of mankind.sit around the campfire,wash in the stream,i could stay for the rest of my life in a tent in the mountains i love camping........"wheres my tent?" lol.

Love it! I've taken several 2 week long treks through Mt. Padres National Forest, CA. Really puts life in perspective. Lately I've been paddling the BWCA (Boundary Waters Canoe Area) right on the MN Canada border. Beautiful country, but no "hills".

Camping is one of my all time favorite hobbies, but not just in the mountains. I love to camp in the desert, and exotic locations as well! And when you are camping every thing is more fun and the food always tastes better too!

Never got to hike the Rockies. I used to hike the Appalachian Trail. Love the mountains! I want to go home!

I love it also, I grew up camping and hiking and I hiked up to Mt. Baldy peek one day and left my name up there...I love the clean, crisp air too... It was beautiful... I always love the feeling of maybe being somewhere no one has ever been... well, I know that is silly but it's the adventure I guess....I have never been to the Rockies but I bet it is beautiful.....

I love camping but im not to adventurous i stay in camps but i do go to one of my favourites beside the Mourne mountains in Northern Ireland
