Well, I can say we have the best soldiers in the world or the best party system. Our politicians suck because thanks to them they're elected with a landslide in their gerrymandered districts and don't have to raise a finger, which I think is a disgrace to such a democratic country like ours. We have the best girls in the world, the best basketball team, the best people. I don't think we are the best in everything but God we try our best to do so. Anyway, with all the good, bad and ugly, I'm proud to be an American and love our country...even though I'm suffering in Chile. Promise to be back soon to help our country of ours be tops!! By the way, I think we're the only country who criticizes ourselves...take that cruel world!!!( just kidding!!)

I think a lot of it has to do with personal preference. People have a right to decide where they want to live. Then there are the economic and social issues. And for people in many other countries living under repressive regimes, they don't have the option to leave even if they may want to.

Bullshit! America never was the best and never will be until they fix their foreign policy. Even then they won't be. The education system is a joke(besides upper education like universities), and the government can't stay the hell away from other countries' business.

Cause America isn't the best right now with all our medicare problems and inflation Canada and Great Britian right now are better than America. Hell America right now is probably the most PC country existing, everyone especially white males have to watch EVERYTHING they do and say or they can get sued. If we step on a females foot its sexist, if its a african american's foot its racist, if its a african american female's foot its both. and we can't say black or its a racial slur. not everybody would agree with you...for instance, in holland marijauna is legal & so is prostitution... canada has similar laws,
while drugs may not be legal they have pot bars & look the other way as long as you're not harming anyone else..
i do enjoy life here in the US but i dont agree with politics or most laws.. for example, did you know that B-17 is a vitamin that cures cancer? this is the only country where its illegal..hmmmm
too many lobbyists got their hands in politicians pockets... democracy should be..for the people,by the people..not being controlled by government

the word smartest isnt spelt "sdmartes" just to let you know. and have you even been out of the country before i highly doubt it. we arent that smart we have terrible schooling. we teach only english and thats it, europe you learn english and your other language whatever it may be. and if ti wasnt for the rest of the world europe in particular we wouldnt have america. cause were do you think the people who founded america came from.you should experience things before you make accusations.

Once I retire, I hope to have a monthly income of about 3000 dollars US. (Today's Dollars). I can live a mediocre lifestyle with that in Florida as a renter, or I can live like a Prince in another country with two maids, a driver and people to do my shopping for me and I can hang out and surf.
