Yours too! I can assure you my situations worse! I am saving money currently to be done with it but here it is. He wakes up at 12:00 pm (sleeps 12 hours daily sometimes longer) wakes up sits on the toilet for about 40 minutes reading a book. Spends another hour immediately after primping in front of the mirror looking no better than he did prior! And one or two hours later goes to work for what may be five or at most eight hours. While he is a wake he spends it verbally tormenting me! Why does this occur I do not know, only that it annoys the hell out of me!

that is funny b/c mine does the same thing. He will sit there forever but if I try to get 5 minutes in the bathroom to do my business , here he comes "honey can you help me with someting, or where are the diapers for the baby" Geez totally not fair.
With my husband he gets a new car magazine and WILL NOT get off the toilet until he finishes no matter how long it takes. Ithink it is psycological that guys have to finish what they are reading so they will feel like they accomplished something.

All humans love to be by a body of water. Ever notice how relaxed you get near a lake, pond, stream or coastline? Well, maybe thats His inner city body of water. It may not seem like much, but it is polluted water, same as all the rest! Plus, He is building an aquatic system.....He drops logs for the beavers, He creates Islands, golden streams, you name it! Then when he is through, he breaks out the paper and makes a map!

Peace quiet and privacy. Let’s hope. That’s a newspaper in there with him, right? Nothing X-rated, right? He doesn’t take his cell phone in there, right? If your relationship with him is good then I agree with the answerer who said to let the man.... in peace. Also, to be really thorough in answering, you might want to feed him more vegetables. It might be fun to be really quiet around the time when he is reading and see if he doesn’t migrate to a favorite chair or couch instead of hogging the small room.

prob to get some peace. when you live with someone its hard not to share everything. give him that space. even if he never gets past page 3 no harm done at least it's at home in your toilet and not in someone elses bed. only kidding the first ans is more likely because thats just what men do.

1. He know that while he's in the bathroom he will not be interrupted.
2. He uses that time to read the paper in peace and quiet.

Maybe he is feeling backed up. I read when I am, because it relaxes me. If I don't focus or try to hard, it happens naturally. If I do try too hard, I worry about giving myself a stroke.....
Also, it is personal uninterrupted time and space. We all need that. I feel bad for anyone that has to get that in the bathroom because they can't get that any other time or place.
