Because some people are hateful.

Personally, I don't see the color of the person's skin. I see people for their personalities and lifestyles. A person, in my definition, is more than just flesh. They have minds and feelings like anyone else.

I am racist again the cliche. If you feel the need to act "black" or whatever, then I am not going to like you. No one should be treated differently. In my opinion, if you want to be treated the same, you should stop with the ebonics, and talk like a human, rather than an uneducated black person. If you act normal and you can talk to me like I don't owe you something then we will get along just fine. Most blacks among other cultures create their own racism. They call the race card. Jews have been persicuted for thousand and thousands of years... Now, have you ever talked to a Jewish person who felt the need to act out because of it....? No. They are the nicest people you've ever spoken too. Also whites were enslaved by blacks first in this country...shall we talk about that? Shall we mention that there is a black history month? May I ask why? White people don't have a white history month. Jew's don't have a Jewish history month. Neither does any other culture. You don't see "White Entertainment Television" on TV. People who claim that they are prejudiced against make me angry. We are all humans. Now if we could all just act like it & get over the dumb crap.

I'm guessing mostly because of stero typing and how a good portion of black people actually act.

I lived in a black neighborhood for 11 years, it wasn't all black at first, but you know how apartment complexes can be. It started out a nice melting pot of different cultures, then slowly more blacks started moving in. Not before too long, whites were the minority.

What started out as a nice quiet community soon turned rude, loud, uncaring, and obnoxious. I am raising an Autistic child who needs quiet, not noise. I've found black men to be the ones who have the most problems with being aggressively violent and just plain rude, but there are some black women too who have the same problem.

The black men would be so rude and start playing gangster rap at 2 am in the morning, waking my son up. Then when cleaning their cars, or installed YET a bigger speaker (like the one taking over their car wasn't enough) they would play their rap music loud enough to vibrate my walls. All I could hear was a constant thumping, no music, just the base. It's bad when people in the town start calling where you live "the hood" or "the ghetto"

Then there were fights in the parking lot over who took who's (whore) their words, not mine. How can anyone live like that. Thankfully, I'm now moved to a much better neighborhood.

Now, for better well behaved, and usually far better educated, black people..I have no problem with. They are usually quite well mannered.

Another thing I've found is that it's mostly the American born blacks that act this way, not those born in another country. I've worked and went to college with quite a few Black, African born, people who were extremely nice. There was a lady from Nigeria that I worked with and we got along well. Very nice lady.

If American born would learn some manners, quit acting like the white men owe them something, get off their butts and work (mostly black men I've noticed) and learn some manners people wouldn't stero type them so.

Dear,
If you ask this question, other may ask why there are people against other race. There are all kind of individuals on this planet. Some are black some are white, and some are yellow or brown. The Great God made the skin colour not us. If you feel that people are racist only against black then I will not totally agree with you.
Every person has good or bad in them self and they learn about others by listening, watching and working with them. May be you have a bad experience with certain people who might have misbehaved with you. Or you are paying too much attention to their behaviour. According to my experience this kind of thinking leads to more anger and hate toward other. Other people will go in this kind of discussion.
If someone is wearing a red glass, that person can see the things red. If you could correct that person without hurting yourself, it is good. Otherwise I would pay attention to my work and stay happy.
Other thing you could do is to put a hold on judging others and increase your strenghts. It might be in any area, then you will see the world around you has changed.
See this world with the glasses of love and you will see everybody is loving and passionate.
With friendly regards
Ben

My car stalled in a black neighborhood in Chicago along side of the expressway. 6 black people started throwing bottles at me from up above the expressway, trying to kill me because I'm white. I fled for my life and caught a ride with a stranger to get the hell out of there. Incidents like that could possibly make people racist against black people.....)(

It's not just people being prejudiced against black people. It's people of all colors being prejudiced against others who aren't the same race. It's all pure ignorance. Sometimes it is because they are raised the wrong way, sometimes because they had one bad experience with a particular race and let that influence their feelings for the others in that race, and sometimes people listen too much to their friends or the media.

Honestly, I don't know. I wasn't raised to judge people by their looks, only by their character. I guess because people are so desperate to appear better than someone else, so they take it out on minorities. Quite childish, really, this whole discrimination thing.I mean, a person is a person, whatever their skin color. There is less difference in the genetic makeup between a "white" and a "black" person than there is between two wolves of the same pack.

In some cases unfortunately it's hereditary.
Daddie's racist baby's racist.
Trying 2 break that inherent behaviour is a hard task.

& sad but true Racism is not just restricted 2 Black People.
I hear of Brown/White/Red/Yellow who all mistrust another race.

If you ever go anywhere where the blacks are in the majority, you will see what racist hate really is.
Until then you can carry on being a politically correct parrot.
